I never wanted to create next-generation protein and energy bars. But, about a decade ago, I was on another trajectory racing bikes as a cyclist around the US. While pursuing that dream, I started looking for a clean, healthy, nutrient-dense, convenient snack…that didn’t taste terrible.
I could tell you that same tired story about how none of the other bars, drinks and gels on the market met my needs and standards for energy, endurance and recovery.
